“So you’re putting a pond into your garden now,”
“I am yeah. It’s nearly done. It’s looking good.”
“You know something very important if you want your pond to be healthy?”
“No, what?”
“Don’t have some pipe coming from somewhere pouring raw sewage into it.”
“I wasn’t going to.”
“But if you did, you could be forever trying to sort out the water in the pond, some expert devises some system for you, special plants are put in to absorb chemicals or whatever - and all the while you’ve still got this pipe still pouring sewage into the pond. That would be the real issue.”
