Efficient Eating

Cut thick slices of bread as opposed to thin, as over a whole loaf the energy lost in cutting, buttering, lifting & probably chewing will obviously be greater the more slices that have been cut from the loaf. Thick slices mean greater net energy profit which may give you the edge over your rivals.

Not that I know of, Elberry. The idea came to me this morning, & frankly I'm just a one-man operation so the means of scientific proof are probably beyond me. I'm more of an ideas man. Surely though, you can see the hypothesis is self-evidently true. It's the kind of hidden advantage that could make all the difference. I don't suppose I could patent the idea?
