Falling Down

What keeps the Earth from falling down? Something about the Sun & gravity, you say? Sounds iffy to me. Well, what keeps the Sun from falling down?

Down where? Or, rather, where is down?

I don't know, Chip. But somebody better. Why don't they fall up might be as appropriate.

What do you think of their take on things?

I'm afraid I think hteir take on things is misjudged due to an over-emphasis on being literal with the collected works that became the bible. The sun, it would seem logical, is the main player of our solar system exerting the crucial dynamic scientific forces, around which the much lesser beings of mass, the planets revolve.

i think the Earth did fall down, didn't it, about 6000 years ago, and that's why we're here. Something to do with a kiwi fruit or something, i dunno, i'm no astrologer.
