There always a blind man who always kept his house well lit. Why? I don’t know. Maybe to compensate for his blindness.

There was a train of thought, of thoughts rather, going somewhere, presumably, but then the train crashed and the thoughts escaped.

Balance
For a device or object to be balanced when afloat in water, the mass of it should be under the water, else of course it would be very unstable. Whatever about calmer waters, when rougher weather comes in, such objects won’t do well. Same with us regarding the division of life between internal and external. Our weight comes from the internal, under the waterline, which is reflected then in the external, above the waterline.
The Coronavirus Narrative and Its Demonic Methodology
This goes back to May 2020, and is by an Orthodox priest, Father Peter Heers. Very impressive and informed stuff, regardless of one’s position regarding faith.

Musical Offshoot
Lead singer of Deep State Cabal, Klaus SSchwab, has formed a new group called Klaus SSchwab and the Psychopaths. Fans of Deep State Cabal needn’t worry as this is only intended as a sideline for SSchwab. This new group’s debut release Genocide is Such an Ugly Word should be in all good record shops from next Monday. SSchwab describes the song as in the style of heavy metal folk opera. Tony Blair is on rhythm guitar, while Bette Midler and Madonna provide backing vocals. Hunter Biden has kindly looked after the artwork for the single “for a reasonable fee.” Some lyrics from the song below:
Djokovic Was Threat to Civil Order
So ultimately Djokovic was deported not because of anything he did or didn’t do but because his presence might threaten disorder as he had thoughts in his head that were not in line with official thoughts, and his having these thoughts might also encourage others to have similar thoughts. Only 93% of Australians were vaccinated. There could have been chaos. The lesson we’ve all learnt here is we must watch what we think. You might be the greatest tennis player in the history of the Australian Open, but what’s far more relevant is being ideologically sound regarding how you feel about the pharmaceutical industry. That is the true measure of sporting excellence.

Most Important
Asylum
A lunatic asylum - for the interests of this piece I’ll use that rather than psychiatric hospital. So anyway, a lunatic asylum, over the front entrance in massive writing is the sign:
We’re In This Together.
The same words on a more humble scale adorn also, as a helpful reminder, most rooms of the building.

Project Veritas, Fauci, Media
Here James O Keefe is interviewed on the latest documents on Fauci’s more than dubious actions, and also on how the media became a propagandist tool or seamless extension of the powers that be rather than a means of investigating and holding them to account. Also is mentioned the black comedy of the official position regarding Covid that, to push the vaccine agenda, no other treatment is supposed to exist - even though we know perfectly well effective treatments do exist. The next question is why is this obvious fraud being perpetrated. One answer is simply that vaccines equate to staggering profits to drug companies - and massive gains to the people they are free to reward bounteously to help them along with this, perhaps the greatest gravy train in human history. It’s not the only answer though, and when for instance Bill Gates has talked of the desirability of reducing the world’s population and that vaccines would help effect this reducing, then this is something probably worth thinking about. It’s also though even still not the only other possible relevant answer as to why this bizarre, criminal pretence that no medical treatment other than vaccines is possible, or even permissible.
Rodolphe Bresdin
View of a Medieval Town. I’d never even heard of this very individual nineteenth century artist until a few days ago. Given the very detailed nature of his pictures, probably worth clicking on the image to make it full screen. Brings to mind also the world and mindset of the novel Titus Groan by Melvyn Peake.

Silence and Words
Seams
Quiet
I’d gone very quiet there for a bit. Why? Had I nothing to say? No, I’ve plenty to say but maybe I’d already said it, and as a general rule we’re probably better off not repeating ourselves. That might though get a bit embarrassing - that is if we really tried to put that into practice, not repeating ourselves … Awkward silences everywhere as we desperately try to come up with something new. In the end we give up and go back to repeating ourselves. Or else I suppose we could reach for our phones. No one might even notice the awkward silences.

2022 The Music Will Never Die
Things have been a bit quiet on the music front for a few weeks after the exhausting run-up to Christmas, but now Fake News Shitstorm are back in the saddle with their new release Why Don’t You Love Me Anymore? Some of the lyrics to this emotionally powerful song below:

Why is the World so False?
This will hopefully be a very succinct version of the answer to this question, and deal in broad strokes!
So onto the question of who typically comprises “the world”, its leading players across its congealed structures of media, politics, etc. Someone can be in the world but not of the world, but here we’re looking at those in the world and of the world.
The world recognises and will reward its own. And who are its own? They are people who are prepared to progress ever more through an obstacle course where everything that isn’t of the world is overcome or rather ditched. Thus these people become more and more of the world, and less and less of the spirit. In the end there is nothing but world in them.

Servility Again, Light
Just on that last piece (https://wwwinabstentia-andrewk.blogspot.com/2022/01/in-defence-of-servility.html) about how servility defends itself through wilful ignorance, the following from the Gospel of John:
The light came into the world, and people loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil. For all who do evil hate the light, so that their deeds may not be exposed. But those who do what is true come to the light …
And so, as a logical continuation of this, those who “innocently” side with evil also protect themselves from the knowledge of this exposing light, as it is ultimately an attack on them also. They voluntarily remain in darkness so as to feel comfortable and justified in their remaining with “the world.”

Pressure to Create
Okay, again a few words, not that I know what they will be, before I head out. The pressure to create invokes creation - I just came up with that there. That’s the kind of thing that ensues when you don’t just do nothing until inspiration falls generously from above upon your gentle soul. There’s things to be said for a bit of dynamism even in the realms of creation … maybe, come to think of it, even especially in the realms of creation! You don’t get much creating done sitting doing nothing after all. Anyway, the pressure on my time to go out I’m afraid is superseding the pressure to involve myself in artistic creation so that’s this for now.

Ultimately
Ultimately there’s only two choices in life: to become a monster of egotism or a saint, and there’s nothing in between. Well, you might say there’s lots in between and that’s where most of us are, in between - but that doesn’t really count for anything. That might sound surprising - the in between where nearly everyone is doesn’t really count, and it’s only either side of it where very few are is all that counts. In between doesn’t count because it isn’t pushing anything towards its conclusion. Sainthood or diabolism however are pushing things towards conclusions, and so it’s here that things are worked out, finalised. Truths are arrived at whereas in between there’s just wandering about, a few steps here and a few steps back the other way. But if you continue along these steps without turning back, you see where you come to.
Off the Beaten Path
Everyone is sick of certain subjects, however admittedly important or topical, and so, out of consideration for alI of us, I am not going to here be writing anything about Brexit. But I never do write anything about Brexit! That’s true too. I admit I never got that excited about the subject. That particular collapse of Western civilisation moment didn’t for some reason particularly capture the zeitgeist of myself. I could have spent several years furiously immersed in the seriousness of it all, stressed out of my mind, digesting everything everyone wise and serious said about it, before suddenly - a traitor to the cause - abandoning the subject and moving onto some other topic, and being even much more furiously immersed in that, however that could be managed. But I didn’t.
You might have thought we would have only so many reserves to dedicate to such issues that make one’s joy in life evaporate, but no, it seems one could spend one’s whole life doing little but being immersed in them. Maybe there is some kind of pay-off in tandem with that evaporation, but it’s not, whatever it is rushing to mind. Maybe it’s a sense of belonging, and the co-habitation within this communal depression, fed by a diet of devoted news watching, gives a sense of purpose to one’s meagre life. Otherwise, not partaking in the cult of fear - that description is disrespectful and unfair but it’s just the words that came out - but anyway, as I was saying, otherwise you might be comparatively happy going about your life comparatively untouched, but on the other hand you’re anonymous, the great moments of history are passing you by, and you could even say you’re insulting everyone with this obliviousness. It’s disrespectful to the great moments, to the great issues that bind us and make us who we are.

Saint Paisios
This is the full documentary from a series on Saint Paisius/Paisios which I watched lately over several days. He lived from 1924 to 1994, and is apparently revered in Greece and the Orthodox Church as a genuine saint - which seems pretty unarguable. The translation to English isn’t from a native speaker but it’s not a problem. Below is an amusing quote I saw from him elsewhere:
