View of a Medieval Town. I’d never even heard of this very individual nineteenth century artist until a few days ago. Given the very detailed nature of his pictures, probably worth clicking on the image to make it full screen. Brings to mind also the world and mindset of the novel Titus Groan by Melvyn Peake.
