Letting Off Steam

Sociologically bent psychologists and psycholigically bent sociologists have described war as "a relatively harmless way for homicidal lunatics to relieve what might otherwise become dangerous stores of volatile repressed energies, liable to cause harm to both themselves and those nearest and dearest to them."

C'est la vie. (That's French: it means "That's life".)
"That's life, that's what all the people say, riding high in April, shot down in May." (That's Frank Sinatra -NB - he's not French. He was something else.)

OMGasp: I knew it. Steam Kettles and Antique Toasters. It all makes sense, now. C'est la vie? C'est la guerre, yes, sir! Oh, I love Frank. I hope you don't mean he was gay, Tony? Dunt. Dunt. Dunt. Dunt. Another bites the dust. Start spreading the news . . . (Listen, just because your first name's the same as Bennett's, I don't think you have informations we don't have, don't you?)

Andrew, why did you start this blog? What were you THINKING, coming from the Antique-Toaster Tipplers District of Ireland? You know, my Irishness is just a come-on, despite this red hair and fair-skin flippin' freckles. That's it, now I know what I forgot! Waffles. I gots waffles. Has West Nile Virus hit your neck of the world yet?

Well, this Blog says I can do it My Way, too.

F. Sinatra was not gay, so far as I can tell. My old editor was a big F.S. fan. He wouldn't have tolerated gayness too well. So there you have it.
