Progression of the Real

It has come to my attention, by what means is irrelevant, that a certain Plato is arguing that this world is but an imperfect 'digital' copy of another universe- an analogue being of far greater authenticity, though this analogue version is in itself not entirely a true representation of the Absolute Truth. This 'universe' by contrast is hardly worthy of the name, so degraded a simulation is it.
Others claim that yes, this is a poor copy of a copy, but an almost perfectly faithful one of the analogue, and only the most refined of perceivers could notice the difference.
Another view is that such is the resolution being employed in this version of reality that this copy is a positive improvement on the analogue, while later versions of same will come ever closer to the perfect truth, with some extremists even claiming that eventually simulated reality will come to replicate Reality with absolute authenticity.

We never ever see the world as it IS altogether.

What we see is a fabrication or facsimile generated by our brain and nervous sysyem complex, which is thus projected "out there" onto the Divine Mirror.

We only ever see our own projected self-reflection. Narcissus looking into the pond or at the mirror.

Plus we only ever see any and everything from the narrowly prescribed prism of our particular brain and nervous system patterned, point of view. Which in turn is mostly generated and thus limited by our cultural conditioning too.

Which in 2008 is the "world" created in the image of TV. A fantasy world which is completely indifferent to, and even hostile towards, the well-being of Earth-kind altogether. TV rules OK.

What would the world look like if somehow IT could be observer from every possible point of view simultaneously? Or put in another way prior to any and every possible point(s) of view.

That is what the world really looks like.

The doors of perception cleansed of the inherent fog of an always limited and limiting point of view.

Or the asana of Humpty Dumpty in his/her state of prior indivisible unity with everything altogether --the Conscious Light in which Platos Cave exists.

Before he/she fell into a fragmented state and could thus only see specks of light shining through minute cracks in the dark walls of Platos "self"-created cave/prison.

Though if we only ever see our own projected self-reflection- and this is either true or very close to true, though there may be openings of self-forgetting when the wider world pours in, such as seeing an incredible natural landscape & in turn our self expands with this vision...Though if we only ever see our own projected self-reflection, then seeing the truth is fully entwined with the self we really are. "A fool sees not the same tree a wise man sees," wrote W Blake.

The very low-grade, if hi-tech, hallucination projection that most mistake for reality is something of which we should be most proud.
