Though as with all such great Far Eastern images, entwined with the spaciousness of the kind of Zen No-Mind awareness, it could as easily be called a mindscape.

That's rather beautiful Andrew, I just set it as my wallpaper in fact (if that's ok) - though the inclusion of a Recycle Bin icon does I admit slightly detract.
Do you know its provenance? Who the artist was and when it was painted?
Afraid I've no idea Max, apart from it being CHinese and presumably old. I just did a search on Chinese landscape images & got it I think, unexpectedly probably, from a rather business oriented site, if I remember right. Certainly some of my favourite paintings are of that far eastern ilk. An earlier post here with two more striking images. This also.
Ah well, thanks for the other links, some interesting pieces, though I still prefer the one from this post I think.
