More Scary Irish Weather

We need your thoughts and prayers here in the south coast of Ireland after another terrifying and scorching day. Here we are in early August, very much our summer season, and temperatures got up today as high as 15 degrees Celsius (59 Fahrenheit), though thankfully the real feel was a little cooler again. Now as we approach 9pm, and even though things are down to a more manageable 12 degrees Celsius (53.6 Fahrenheit), real feel 9 Celsius, still it has to be said, things can’t go on like this. Am I the only one awake to what’s happening?

(You might think those kind of temperatures are way cooler than one might reasonably expect in summer,  but that would be wilfully irresponsible and even treasonous thinking.) The Accuweather screenshots below at around 5pm and 9pm show those crazy hot temperatures that have had us scurrying for every available spot of Irish shade. This is truly apocalyptic. In a bad way.
