“Who do you think is the greatest statesman in history?”
“It’s hard to look beyond Biden. The charisma, the intelligence, the ability to not fall down going up steps very often - he has it all.”
“And if he does fall down going up steps, one thing you can be sure of is he will get back up again.”
“There’s no question about it. You can’t say that about everyone. And even if he falls down going up the steps a second time just after getting back up from the first time, you know what’s gonna happen: he’s going to get back up a second time.”
“Undoubtedly. He’s not going to stay down. At that stage most people would stay down even if they had gotten back up the first time.”
“Definitely. Their confidence would have taken a hit. And guess what: if he falls down a third time you don’t even need to ask what’s going to happen next.”
“He’ll get back up a third time. And he’s not going to be checking for broken bones either.”
“No chance. Imagine his detractors looking on at a spectacle like that and just thinking, “Wow, what can we say now? There’s no stopping him. He’s like the Terminator.”
“Schwarzenegger?”
“Yeah.”
“What do you think he’d do if he fell down going up a fourth time?”
“Well everyone has their limits.”
