I hate that phrase 'it's nothing personal'. It's always personal.
Psycologically repellent? Mmm, fairly cutting. But not fatal. I've worked my way back from worse. Opposites attract, eh?
I think the motive for the verbal barbed wire is both pleasure in art. and the kind of obnoxious interaction on the internet ordinary life had sheltered one from. There's a reason, for example, comments are now modded.
