Reason, Causation

Reason deals in causal relationships - each action causes an equal and opposite reaction. When reason is in the hands of the mediocre and vain, puffing themselves up with their modicum of intelligence to imagine themselves some kinds of lords of existence, then they declare anything beyond the causal must by definition not exist. And so there is no freedom since freedom is a condition free of the materialistic chain of causation. 

Thus for example, the atheist ‘rationalist’ - i.e. one completely mired in causal relationships - demands regarding the existence of existence, as if producing some trump card, who created God - the supernatural unfortunately introduced since causation doesn’t align with nothing creating something. God, insofar as God can be subject to intellectual discourse, is supernatural and beyond the limits of the natural and rational, But the moment these people discuss this deity, the mere conception of whom is so painful to their vanity, they treat God as natural and created being! Their limits are so narrow and essentially mediocre, they find it impossible to get beyond causation. 

Or another example where the World Economic Forum intellectual lackey Yuval Harari, fully enclosed in said vanity and mediocrity declares humanity to be “soulless, hackable animals,” because, as said, for this type of person everything is bound by causation, and freedom inconceivable and non-existent. And therefore mankind are lumps of matter to be exploited and manipulated in whatever way construed by the ruling elites.
