Just a quick general point as to what has added to the difficulty of what had been happening the last couple of years. Tyranny, oppression, a culture of manipulation and lies, etc are never fun any time but in previous eras people - not that it’s a good thing - were attuned to hardship to intense degrees, and thus for example the feasibility of going to fight, and very likely die, in arenas like World War 1. We though are not attuned to expect these kinds of things. Our mass culture is, in terms of leisure, you could say devoted to not much more than harmless and mindless gratification. So the sudden shift from this apparent benevolent social atmosphere to the blatant reemergence of state totalitarianism has been brutal. It wasn’t in our DNA in the more recent sense anyway to deal with this kind of stuff. We were dumped into it from virtually nowhere. So people have been having to learn very, very fast. And bravo of course to people like the truckers! 

And to finally point out the so-called liberals or progressives who in their first incarnations supposedly championed the rights of the working-classes over their oppressors in the form of the bourgeoisie and wealthy. And what of course do those progressives turn out now to really represent - the crushing of anyone who stands up to state tyranny, and especially the working class truckers. What a surprise.
