Facts

Music group The Fact Checkers, who have been a bit subdued of late, have, with hope on their hearts, released a new song into the cultural atmosphere, titled Don’t Say I’m Irrelevant. Their previous song, It’s Not a Fact Until I Say It’s a Fact didn’t do so well, so it will be interesting to see how this one fares.

Edge of a Lake (Souvenir of Italy)

Camille Corot, 1855-1860.

Nobody Said

So that photo being a bit small, a response to the quick fire revisionism that no one said the “vaccines” wouldn’t stop you getting Covid, a sample of those above quotes . . . Anthony Fauci said “When people are vaccinated they’re not going to get infected.” Joe Biden said, “You’re not going to get Covid if you have these vaccinations,” whilst CDC director Rochelle Walensky said, “Vaccinated people do not carry the virus and don’t get sick.” Meanwhile on the media front, Rachel Maddox from MSNBC, “informed” her viewers that “Now we know the vaccines well enough that the virus stops.” Of course she couldn’t and didn’t know this since it wasn’t true.

So this was obviously all complete misinformation, but maybe we could argue they weren’t lying. Maybe they’re all just incredibly incompetent. And so possibly their false pretences to knowledge were down to their scientific ignorance and stupid unfounded optimism, rather than duplicity. But then again, admittedly, however stupid and incompetent, since at no point could they know what they claimed to know, it is hard to get beyond lying.

So anyway, regardless, liars or incompetent, if you discover someone, say a salesman of some kind, to having relentlessly fed you a load of crap about some product they were selling whose virtues turned out not at all to match the sales pitch, you should quickly wipe all cynical remembrance of such discrepancies from your mind, and now go on, in a state of beautiful unharmed innocence, to completely surrender your  mind and conscience to their next claims about the same products they were just talking crap about a very short time before. That would be the wise and mature course of action.

Gulag

Extremely hot on the heels of their debut song, Indoctrinate Me Baby (All Night Long), exciting new industry outfit The College Students have another song already primed for release in the coming weeks, titled Gulag, Gulag, Gulag. A sample of the lyrics below:

Gulag, gulag, gulag
Gulag’s gonna get you
If you want my body
Get with my ideology
Or else gulag, gulag, gulag
Gulag’s gonna get you
So if you want my body
Better get with my ideology
Ooohhh
Ooohhh
Ooohhh
All right

It’s obviously rare to encounter lyrics of such sociological depth within the pop environment, so let’s hope the kids are rewarded bounteously for these daring artistic endeavours.

College

It’s almost embarrassing having to be the conduit for some reason or other for so much music news, but anyway here’s some more music news, this time emerging from the bowels of the academic world, with the spawning of a new group calling themselves The College Students. They apparently are ticking all the right boxes with all the right people, and are even said, whisper it, to possibly be set for stardom, especially if they continue to put in the hours on their dance routines, which are as yet considered “explicit but a bit wooden”.

Their first song is called Indoctrinate Me Baby (All Night Long). Its lyrics advance the notion that complete unquestioning servility beneath the wheels and machinery of an emerging totalitarian world state is the path to freedom and erotic bliss.

I don’t have a thought in my head
Except for what you’ve put in there
So indoctrinate me baby
All night long
It’s what you do best
It gives my head rest
I feel really blessed
Cos otherwise I wouldn’t have a fucking clue what’s going on.

Just to add, it is yet to be confirmed whether that slightly surprising final line is legitimate or not.

Brainwash

The band Fake News Shitstorm have a new song recorded and primed for release, titled Brainwashed. A sample of the lyrics have been leaked, and we present them to you below:

It’s better to have a clean brain
than a dirty brain
So let us brainwash you today.

A Tree by the Water

 By Camille Corot.

Death and Rebirth

Some mixed news on the music front: consumers will be sad to learn of the demise of the Bill Gates funded girl-band Depopulation Agenda in the aftermath of their previous song Lockdown Me Baby not faring as well in the charts as well as expected. Following this artistic and commercial travesty, both members of the band and management apparently suffered varying degrees of narcissistic collapse. Depopulation Agenda will always be fondly remembered for their timely hit of yesteryear, Mask Me, Vaxxx Me, Any Way You Want Me.

Good news however is that a couple of human fragments from the debris of Depopulation Agenda are now part of new outfit, called Woke, and whose debut release is Living in a Bourgeois Cult. The main lyrics to this song, which is propelled by a driving beat and laid back bass line, are:

I’m living in
I’m loving in
A big bourgeois cult.

Emerged

Unusually quiet for a while, Deep State Cabal have emerged from hibernation with a new song, We Own Your Children (And We Own You). Lead singer and principal songwriter Klaus SSchwab describes this as “a love song to humanity.”

Breath

“If you were under water and you ran out of breath, what would you do?”
“Drown.”
“We’ll I suppose of course you could drown, obviously, but maybe first you should probably try coming up and getting your head out of the water and so you could breathe again.”

Leaving

I’m not quite sure how anyone decent and sane could have stuck it out this long with the deranged and pathetic current version of the US Democratic Party, but regardless of the full inner substance of anyone in the public eye, this was certainly pretty powerfully put.

Just to mention one very obvious point - we just went through the incessant hysteria about Covid and vaccines, but simultaneously to this, the woke Democrats also pushed completely open borders for illegals entering the US, and who would not have to do anything about their Covid status. A legal person could lose his or her job if unvaccinated - this was such an unbelievably serious situation and which had justified, nay demanded the most authoritarian powers and measures by the authorities to control - but simultaneous to this millions of non US citizens could just pour into the country as if in a completely parallel world where there was no pandemic issue whatsoever going on.

How can anyone have so little character as to somehow dwell happily within this kind of schizophrenic reality, and accept it as somehow sane and plausible?

Parody

The devil, or the demonic energies, are said to be lacking in all creativity, but instead to create parodies of truth, to copy truth and make a mocking version of it. Socialism can be seen in this light as a parody of the democratic ideal. Instead of the elevation of the individual level upwards, it seeks to unify by degradation downwards, the unity of reduction to a lowest common denominator, and in which absolutist system all individuality, creativity, is denigrated as “capitalist individualism” or some such category of negation. No one is allowed to be free of the all powerful State control. You step beyond its bounds, you get “cancelled.” The nature of the cancelling depends on its attained level of absolutism, rather than a restraint based on any adherence to morality.

The response of the religious authorities, the Pharisees, to Jesus - their hatred of his setting people free on the Sabbath. The Sabbath had nothing to do with it, what they hated was the setting free. The underlying psychology is the same regardless of the superficial variation in the forms or systems of control.

Gnomic Anthology

These deep and poetic excerpts from A Gnomic Anthology by Ilias the Presbyter are included in Orthodox Christian collection of texts mom The Philokalia, Volume 3.

27. When the ship of sinfulness is overwhelmed by the flood of tears, evil thoughts will react like people drowning in the waves and try to grasp hold of something so as to keep afloat.

28. Thoughts gather about the soul according to its underlying quality: either they are like pirates and try to sink it, or they are like oarsmen and try to help it when it is in danger. The first tow it out into the open sea of sinful thoughts; the second steer it back to the nearest calm shore they can find.

Corot

A drawing by 19th century French artist, Camille Corot.

Zelensky, Mr Dignity, the New Nobility

Not just good for being a comic actor playing a President of a country for a tv channel owned by a Nazi, and then becoming the actual President of a country known for being utterly corrupt, and then becoming fabulously wealthy whilst in this role looking after the Ukrainian people. What a guy. A man who carries himself like a true statesman. You may incidentally have also seen footage of him giving all the signs of being out of his degenerate mind on cocaine, but don’t let that colour your vision. No one’s perfect, not even politicians who may be portrayed as messianic saints within the popular culture. And anyway, all this - the corruption, inane comedy acting, cross-depressing and erotic dancing, being a Nazi puppet, the cocaine addiction, and so on - all in all perhaps we should see this as the modern equivalent of the noble, multi-faceted type of the renaissance man.

Flight into Egypt

Jean Francois Millet from sometime in the 1860s. Judging from the amount of copies of his works he did, an artist who very powerfully affected Van Gogh, especially presumably because of the mature, emotional power and dignity much of Millet’s work carries, and for which sense of life Van Gogh himself likely yearned.

Reason and Faith

I’ll try to be very brief and abrupt here. There is the thought huge dichotomy between reason and faith - faith is faith in life as a whole, and of course beyond biological, physical life and existence to the divine. There has then been the supposed opposition of this if a sense of the world built on reason, we build up our map of existence through reason and observation, and progress onwards in an ascending curve of mastery over surrounding reality.

Thus dichotomy is in fact absurd for the most intellectually primal reason, and that is that reason can only extend from faith, and here that means faith in language, that as a matter of course meaning and language are intrinsically entwined. If I doubt that meaning, my language will fall to pieces in my very hands, and if true to my lack of faith, then we will quickly find we can’t say a single thing about anything. The whole edifice crumbles.

Where this is actually being acted out is maybe most obvious with all the gender stuff that all of a sudden, became so seminal an issue. So here a man decides to identify as a woman. Intellectually what is actually happening here? It’s exactly what I talked about above: the faith that is inescapable to our connection to language has been minused out of the equation, and so the meaningfulness of language falls apart. That invisible and mystical meaningfulness of language is taken away, faith is gone, and words can mean anything, which is to say they don’t mean anything. This is the consequence of a reason actually removed from faith. It leads to total intellectual collapse, seeing as you’re now disengaged from intellectual reality, which extends from faith to begin with - the same as mathematics rests on the exact same foundation of faith in the language of mathematics. If someone here started saying things like, “How do we know two is two? Maybe two isn’t two,” - and this kind of crap was taken seriously, here also, faith removed  mathematics would crumble as a meaningful phenomenon. Reason without faith disintegrates.

More Ink and Water

Another thing from messing about with ink and feeling my way around with it. I’m not making any great claims for these kind of things!

Charles

Prince Charles, no sorry King Charles, has been one of the champions of The Great Reset, and stated that Covid was a great opportunity to push this Great Reset through that would create this wonderful future. This presumably deeply linked in with his great concern for the environment, that requires and will ever more require, according to such benevolent forces as Charles and the folks he hangs out with, very strong, probably kind of totalitarian, measures to save the planet.

Lifting the following from elsewhere: “June of 2020, Prince Charles launched #TheGreatReset, tweeting out: 'As we move from rescue to recovery, therefore, we have a unique, but rapidly shrinking, window of opportunity to learn lessons and reset ourselves on a more sustainable path. It is an opportunity we have never had before and may never have again.”

Here below we see some of this passionately concerned and benevolent personality in action. A word of warning: even the most benevolent of life’s guardians may sometimes, under the stress of unbearable provocations, become a bit tetchy, and appear as a result maybe a little malevolent and deranged.

And to add, if someone gets this upset over I think it is pens being a little in his way and which he lacks the strength or will to move himself, imagine how intensely he suffers over the imperfections of the world as a whole. And perhaps that’s the point: I don’t think we can imagine it.
